On behalf of the Weserburg Bremen and together with the artist Daniel Neubacher.
The Weserburg is a museum known for its contemporary and modern art exhibitions in Bremen. This time they were experimenting with new ways to show off art. The experimental area was dedicated to a younger target group and featured an Augmented Reality object.
Through an iPad App a statue of Michelangelo‘s „David“, which holds an iPhone in his hand, is placed onto a pedestal. With help of an image marker and the Vuforia SDK it is possible to track the area the object is supposed to be placed on. It is also possible to change the statue‘s color in the app.
